Ski to Live Alumni Event 2009
Ok Gang we have a date set. By overwhelming majority vote the Ski to Live Alumni reunion will be held February 21-22 in Utah, at Alta on Saturday and Sunday, and also at my house on Saturday night at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon.
I know you're all partied out from the Holidays and prolly more food, winter, festivities blah blah sound as appealing as being plucked, stuffed and cooked- but Feb 21-22 will be right in line with when we suddenly wake up and realize: "oh crap, winter is almost over and I forgot to ski." It's perfect!
Please RSVP. Bring a friend or more if you like. There will be a whole lotta zen revelations, loads of give-aways and really good food. The itinerary is as follows:
Saturday Feb. 21st and Sunday Feb 22nd: 10 am: meet both days at base of Collins chair as a gang and let's go skiing. Groups of like ability will be created. We end at 4:00 pm both days.
Ripping it up is our priority, however I will be leading a group creation Big Mind session both days. I have decided not to choose a theme this year, and will let the group dec ide what comes up. So PLEASE, come armed with questions- ones to ask publicly or to share privately with me on the chair. Sample questions might include:
-My cat can do better than this and he died 2 years ago.
-My ass just sits there like two canned hams, is that right?
-I'm so good I'm worried the opposite sex won't be able to control themselves.
I promise you though, we'll go deep. In powder hopefully, into our lives certainly.
If you're late, hang by the Collins chair and we'll be back around all morning and much of the day.
Dinner and party at my house at 6:00 pm on Saturday night.
Suggested donation for the two days of coaching and the dinner party is $250 but anything will be fine, even nothing- just join us! This money will be used to allow partial and full scholarships to anyone who has an interest to attend Ski to Live but can't afford it. We never want to turn anyone away who wants to attend this unique and lovely experience.
